Completed kits

It's been quite a while since I have posted any of our kits on my blog, so I thought I would share some with you. I'm sure I've missed some but here are quite a few.

This Baptism one hasn't been released yet but I think it turned out really cute.
This is one that my sister and I designed while we were up at Bear Lake.

This is one that we had a lady specifically ask us to design. Here horse is involved in the horse races.

This is a kit that I designed after Kaitlin's "Fashion" party for her pictures.

Bear Lake contd...4-Wheelin!

We all had a blast riding the 4wheelers on the trails up around the cabin. There were several that we could go on and explore our beautiful surroundings. Tyler likes to ride on every ones tails so he always ended up coming back with a filthy face. One morning Lori, I and the kids all got up at 5:30 and headed up the trails to a hill so that we could watch the sunrise. It was early, but it was definately worth it.

Fun times & relaxing times

The Felix's for Family Night

Our good friends the Felix's live up in Hyde Park which is just next to Logan, came up on Monday to have dinner and FHE with us. It was so nice to visit with them and see their cute family again.

Playing Dead

The boys were out on the deck playing guitars and just chatting when down runs this chipmunk off the side of the cabin, right next to where they were sitting. It see's them and drops on it's back and plays dead. It stayed there with it's legs up in the air and eyes wide open for about 3 minutes, long enough for everyone to see it. Then after everyone quit looking at it, it rolled over and ran off. It was so funny! We warned all the kids when we went to the cabin that there would be lots of pictures taken. There was to be no covering of faces or hiding. Trav had a hard time with this he doesn't like getting his picture taken. You'd think all of our kids would be natural models with all of the pictures we take of them.

Bear Lake

We went up and stayed in the most beautiful cabin up in Bear Lake. My parents, while on their mission, met Sister Redd. They have been building some things for her at her cabin and as a trade she has allowed us to stay there.

2004 flashback

On our way back home from Denver, CO we stopped at Aunt Trudy & Uncle Craig's house. It's always fun for the kids to be able to ride their horses.

I grew up as a child going to visit family in Meeker and always looked forward to milking cows, feeding bottles to the baby lambs and just playing around on the ranches. Life always seemed so much simplier.

Kaitlin Farnsworth

We always teased Kaitlin about being Kaitlin Farnsworth. Because she spent as much time at their house that she could. The Farnsworth girls have the best imaginations. I always knew if Kaitlin was playing with Abby that she was having a great time. They played the "good" old fashioned way, tea parties, school, they wrote plays, and went square dancing.

Final Destination UNKNOWN

We are on our way to a new adventure. We will temporarily stay at my parents in Leamington, UT while we look for a new job & place to live. We surely are sad about leaving Cedar City again but we know that we are being led to new opportunities. I'm excited for this new step even though we thought that this would be our final destination. That just reminds me that there is a bigger picture and that we are not in charge. I'm grateful for all the friends and experiences that we've had here. Now were off to making new friends and having new experiences.

Neighbors/Friends

We have been able to live in a wonderful neighborhood here in Cedar City. We couldn’t have handpicked better neighbors & friends. They would be there in a heartbeat if we ever needed them. Whether it be to watch our dog while we’re out of town, giving priesthood blessings in the middle of the night or bringing over yummy treats, you could always count on them. We will miss everyone!

Tyler's Buds

Tyler has made some wonderful friends here in Cedar City. He has spent this past week spending as much time with all of them as he possibly could. Tyler loves adventure and adventure is what he got with all of these friends. Fishing, building forts & tree houses, spying on deers, going on recon missions, and working at the local pet store so that he could play with any animal imagined. He will miss all of his friends but will be back to visit.

Am I crazy?

Have you met Indiana Jones Jr. (or Indie) for short? This is who Tyler got after his snake blaze died. What is he you might ask? A Ball Python. Yep, one of those. He really is quite a neat snake. He will get big if we make his environment bigger. This happens to be pictures of dinner time. Indie eats every two weeks. His diet consists of baby mice called pinkies or fuzzies, baby rats.

Garbage Can

With moving and all we have had quite a mess around here. Every room has at least 1 if not 2 garbage cans in them. Bella came out of my craft room the other day adorned in the garbage can lid. It was very cute.

Way back Flashback 1982

UTAH

Kaitlin had her last school program for the year at South Elementary. It was all about UTAH. There were Indians, and mountain men, Spaniards, and pioneers. Kaitlin was a pioneer, thanks to Grandma Marchant for making her a bonnet. They all did a great job and sang a lot of fun songs. I love the Utah song, I think it's my favorite. I can't believe that school is out tomorrow.

St George Adventure

On our way to the Temple the other day I saw all of these beautiful flowers growing along side the road. Kirk doesn't like stopping once he's going so when the kids and I went to St George I made sure to bring my camera along. It was a pretty site to see these as we drove into and out of St George. Derick has been wanting to get some more driving hours and drive down to St George. We decided that this would be a good day to head down there because Derick needed new church clothes and both Tyler and Kaitlin needed shoes. We stopped at this new burger joint, SMASH BURGER, and have dinner. They had really good burgers.
We had a fun time together and were even able to see Uncle "Bubby" Doug, at the bank.

Git R Done

The boys and uncle Greg went on a walk with Grandpa after his brain surgery. Grandpa had a hard time walking in a straight line, but they made it to the corner and back. They even stopped to make funny faces at me for a picture. I don't think Grandpa knows how to make a funny face.

Memory Tree

Kirk & I went to the Temple today and I made sure to bring my camera because I wanted to go take a picture of the tree that Kirk and I kissed at for the first time. I think that it’s pretty ironic that that is also where we were sealed for Time & All Eternity. I will always hold a special place in my heart for the St. George temple.

1995 Favorite pic

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Derick. We had planned on having his pictures taken with overalls on but as we, my Mom and I were wandering through Sears we found the fishing gear to add to the picture. Isn't he adorable?

By the way, Derick's nickname was and always will be "Tugboat". How he got that name you may ask? What do tugboats say? Toot Toot. That is what Derick did from the day he was born. He was known for his great TOOTS.

Flashback to Harry Potter

Didn't Derick make the cutest Harry Potter? I just love how these pictures turned out. They were taken in our front yard in West Jordan.

Memorial day 2006

I just completed this layout in a speed scrap with my Sister, Lori's, instructions. It was challenging but I ended up with this awesome layout. I chose to do memorial day pictures since we are coming upon that holiday.

Every year we go to the cemetery with rakes, trimmers, water and of course flowers in hand and clean up around all of our relatives graves. The little kids always have a fun time collecting all of the old flowers that have been blowing around, and then they line them up on top of the headstones.

Flashback 2006 Kaitlin

Kaitlin was so brave when she had to get her tonsils out. She was pretty proud of her cap & gown and when they willed her off she held up her hands and pretended that she was on a roller coaster. She sure enjoyed the grape popsicle that she got afterwords. She did great!

Beautiful Message

What an inspiration this woman is to me today. I'm so grateful to be a Mom, have my health, have the gospel, and to have the challenges that have been given me so that I can grow closer to my Heavenly Father.

Mormon Cricket

We were in Leamington and Grandpa Evers took us to see all the Mormon Crickets. They cover the road in the summer time. Tyler wasn't so sure about holding these giant crickets but he was brave enough to hold one so that I could take his picture.

Road Trip

We had such a fun road trip with the girls up north. We started off with a sleepover at my Parents in Leamington. Then the next morning we stopped at the Young Living Farm the girls paddled on the paddle boats, where Olympia lost her socks and had to go fishing for them. Had a great time exploring IKEA and then went to Joe’s Crab shack for lunch. We ended the day at the mall where the girls did a little window shopping. FUN, FUN

Tyler's book report

This year in Tyler's reading class they had to do a book report. They could either make a cake or make a board game that went along with their book. Tyler chose to make a cake. He did such and awesome job making the Swiss Family Robinson tree.
