Derick, had surgery on Wednesday, to repair a hernia that he has has since he was little. Since Derick is going into Highschool this year and wanting to do weight lifting we decided to have it taken care of so that he doesn’t have any problems. Derick had Kirk and Brother Johnson and Brother Wood (his young men leaders) come over the night before and gave him a priesthood blessing. The surgery went very well. Derick was the most scared to have an IV but that turned out not bad at all.

Derick went under the knife...
