My Never list

My Sister and I have opened our our Digital Scrapbooking store.  YEAH!!!  You can go an check it out here.  We are pretty excited about it.  Anyway, we also have a place called the FORUM, which you can check our here.  At the forum there is an area with all sorts of challenges to get you inspired with your Scrapbooking.  There are Family History challenges, Template challenges, Scrap-lift challenges, and several more.  This layout above is from the Journaling challenge.  We were shown an example and then created our own.  The challenge was to create our own NEVER list.   I didn’t think I would be able to come up with enough to fill the page but I did. 

All around the place.

This first layout is for a Photo Editing Challenge in our New Forum, a picture of Kaitlin at the Reflection pool at Temple Square.  This is from Kaitlin’s Mother Daughter Activity.   We had a little luncheon and then played a couple games.   So much fun!

And lastly is Tyler riding a Giraffe unicycle.  He just amazes me.  It looks so easy, but believe me, from seeing multiple people trying to ride Tyler’s small unicycle and failing 99% of the time, it’s not easy.

Grandpa for Cedar City Council!!!

Campaign headquarters have been in Cedar City, UT for Grandpa Marchant.  Everyone has been busy writing articles, designing posters and t-shirts, handing out fliers and the list goes on. 

Labor Day we went and supported Grandpa by walking in the Parowan Labor Day parade handing out fliers and tossing candy.  The weather was beautiful and everyone did a great job.  Good Luck Grandpa!!!

Volleyball!

Kaitlin played volleyball for the first time this year.  She had a really good time and learned a lot.  The first few games she wasn’t able to serve it over.  But she got the hang of that pretty quick and made it over really good.  They won quite a few games.  It was fun to cheer her and her team on.

Go SUU!

Can you tell we are big SUU fans?  Grandpa Marchant got everyone a SUU T-shirt for some family pictures.  It’s been along time since we’ve been able to have the entire family together for pictures.  I think the last time was when I was 7 or 8 months pregnant with Kaitlin.  Family pictures are rarely ever perfect and this was also not one of those perfect days.  But for the most part we all had a good time with lots of laughs and even a few tears.  I’m proud of my Marchant name and glad to be part of their family.

Grandma Evers Funeral

I will miss my Grandma Evers, but I have some wonderful memories of times with her that I will never forget.  I’m so glad that my children were able to know her and that they are old enough to always remember her.  I can’t wait for the day that we can do her temple work so that we can be sealed to her for eternities.

Richardson Family Reunion

Our Richardson Reunion this year was pretty small but very nice.  We spent the afternoon at my Aunts house in Tooele.  They had rented an inflatable water slide that we all pitched in on.  The kids had a blast!  We BBQ’d chicken and had salads and dessert. 

Grandma Evers

My Grandma Evers passed away today.  She has been suffering with cancer for a while now and I’m glad that she isn’t suffering anymore.  I will miss her greatly but I am so grateful for the memories that I have of her.  She was such a wonderful  “ELECT” lady.   I did this layout for her for her birthday this year and thought that I would share it again today in memory of her.

Derick was able to go on a Trek to Martin’s Cove when we lived in Cedar City.  What a great experience for him.  Blisters and all.

Bees Baseball Game

For Father’s Day this year the kids and I took Kirk to a Bee’s Ball Game.  It was a beautiful cool evening.

Ooops....Too bad there aren't mirrors in showers

I, Mom, came back from the store and as soon as I walked in Kaitlin was beckoning me to her. She had just got out of the shower and had a towel on her head. I walked back to the bedroom with her and she breaks down crying. My first thought was that she started her period. I asked her what was wrong, she had her head ducked and says “I was trying to get rid of some little eyebrows and I totally messed up” I said let me see. So she removes her towel and I about die. I thought that maybe she was using tweezers and got a little carried away plucking but no, she looked unbelievable. She thought that she could be careful enough by just using the edge of the razor blade....And since she was in the shower...not looking in a mirror...she shaved BOTH of her eyebrows practically off...I ran to the store to get an eyebrow pencil to draw them on and trimmed Kaitlin’s bangs to cover up her handy work in-between while they are growing back. Good thing it’s summer.
