Derick’s Baptism Day

Derick was Baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, on November 30, 2002.
Grandpa Marchant gave a talk on being baptized, he gave all the kids that were being baptized a Key. Which represented that being baptized was one of the keys to returning back home to our Heavenly Father.  Grandma Marchant gave a talk on, receiving the Holy Ghost.  She made Derick a white blanket which represented the Gift of the Holy Ghost and how we can feel warm when we listen and feel the Holy Ghost.   Uncle Doug and Uncle Chad sang, “I am a child of God” and Derick sang, “I want to be a missionary now.” 
What a wonderful day it was for Derick to be baptized by Kirk, and to have family and friends there.
