When Kaitlin was three months old we decided that it was time for her to go to sleep on her own. So we put her in her crib, she fussed a little and then that was it. I went in to check on her and she had found her thumb. From then on she slept through the night like and angel. I took this picture of her one day when she had fallen asleep standing and sucking her thumb.

Zeke sucks his thumb, it's so cute, but then I start worrying about how hard it will be to break him of the habit, since Kate (6) STILL sucks her fingers.
What a sweet picture. She was the cutest little thing. And there is that slip again!
