Derick made the choice to receive his Patriarchal Blessing a little while ago and today was the day the he was able to receive it. Our wonderful friend, Patriarch Craig Jones, was able to be the one to give Derick his blessing. When Kirk and I were first married we lived behind Craig and Bonnie Jones in a little house for about four years. Derick was almost two when we moved from there. They are very dear to us so it was extra special to have Craig give Derick his blessing.
