When we lived up North, one of things the boys enjoyed was to go to Lowe's and build something. Once a month Kirk would sign the boys up and then they would go and get to build things. It was free and the first time they went they would get an apron and safety glass. At each work shop after they passed off their project they would get a certificate and a patch to sew onto their apron. They always had a great time.
