This year for Kaitlin's Birthday I decided to take her out of school and we went to St George for the day. She wanted to go to the mall and go shopping. She said that the first thing that she wanted to do when she got there was to ride the escalator. Too bad St George isn't big enough for and escalator. First thing we did when we got there was to have our pictures taken in one of those photo booths. Then we went to Dillards to look around. She put some lip gloss on at the makeup counter and some perfume. We looked at some clothes and she had to buy a Hannah Montana makeup set. She tried on some fancy Jewelry and decided that people who wear the underwear that goes up you bum (thongs) are just disgusting. We did a little more walking around the mall before she decided that she had had her fill of the whole mall thing.
We then decided that we needed to eat so we went to the Olive Garden for lunch. It was delicious and we both filled up on the yummy breadsticks.
Our final destination was to Target, thank goodness for Target, because that is where we did pretty much all of our shopping. Kaitlin picked out several different outfits. She modeled all the cute little hats for a photo shoot.
After we got home from shopping we got ready for her party. We decorated the basement with balloons a homemade disco ball, black lights and Tyler's lava lamp. She had four of the best come to "party" with her. They all had fun dancing, singing kareoke, telling jokes and eating munchies. We are so glad to have Kaitlin in our family, she is such a delightful little girl. Happy Birthday Kaitlin!
